Marissa Rudd (Sunni) is a mother of a 2-year old and the owner of a local organization, For the Family NYC that works to encourage strong family structures, and support systems through live events, classes, mentoring programs and community initiatives.
She’s passionate about food justice, family planning, and showing her child the joys of childhood. She is the author of the viral WIC-Cookbook and her work has been featured in the New York Times, Parents Magazine, Matter of Fact with Soledad O’Brien, the Philadelphia Inquirer, and more.
